Intel
Corporation introduced the Intel Atom product family S1200, including
the first low-energy 64-bit server system on a chip for high-density and
mikrostrežnike for a new class of energy-efficient storage systems and
networking. Microprocessors
have low power and provide key opportunities for the reliable operation
of servers, management, and cost-effectiveness.
Family
Intel Atom S1200 is the first low-energy system on a chip, which
provides options for data centers, which provides server-level security
and management options. It also allows the reduction of the total cost. The system on a chip includes two physical cores and four even with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology. In
addition, it also includes 64-bit support, a controller for up to 8 GB
DDR3 memory, Intel Virtualization Technologies (Intel VT), 8 signaling
pathway, PCI Express 2.0, support for debugging, improving reliability,
and other input / output interfaces, integrated with Intel chipsets. New product family will consist of three processors with frequencies between 1.6 GHz and 2.0 GHz.
